From Nahal Tana to Givat Yoav Grove:

The views of the Sea of Galilee and the beginning of the settlement in the Golan during the first Aliyah.

The length of the section: 6 km

Degree of difficulty: from north to south - medium. From south to north - easy.

How to get there:

Nahal Tana on Highway 789: drive east a little more than seven kilometers from the Kursi intersection up Highway 789, here a vehicle road descends from the highway to the west. Here you can get out of the vehicle safely and walk on the red road for about 200 m until the intersection with the Golan Trail._cc781905-5cde -3194-bb3b-136bad5cf58d_

Givat Yoav grove: leave the western gate of Moshav Givat Yoav and drive half a kilometer to the pine grove and the fork of the dirt road to the south that connects with the Golan Trail.

Through the Golan villages and the Ein Gev river to the watershed

The length of the segment: 7 km

Level of difficulty:  MNorth to south - medium. From south to north - medium.

How to get there: 

Givat Yoav: leaving the gatewest of Moshav Givat Yoav and travel half a kilometer to a pine grove and a branching of the dirt road to the south that connects with the Golan Trail. 

Ampi Golan: Highway 98 south of Kibbutz Afik, near the intersection of the road going down to Susita (between km markers 21-22)

From Umm al-Kanatir to Nahal Tana

The "Grand Canyon" of the State of Israel

The length of the segment: 9 km

Level of difficulty:From north to south - hard. From south to north - difficult.

How to get there:

Umm al-Kanatir: From road 808 north of Hisfin turn west towards Netur. After 2.3 km turn south on a good dirt road, after half a km turn west and drive another 2 km to the parking lot. From here go down a footpath through the beautiful antiquities site, after the stairs turn south to the spring, go through an opening in the fence to the road vehicle (marked in blue) and go down to the diversion route where the path passes.

Nahal Tana on road 789: drive a little more than seven kilometers east from the Korsi junction up road 789 by a vehicle road that goes off the road to the west. Here you can safely get out of the car and walk on the red road for about 200 m until the intersection with the Golan Trail.
